Reflection about the Honors Program
The opportunity to be part of the Honors program has helped me grow intellectually and socially a great deal in my two years spent in Canada.
Being part of this small group helped me form friendships and links with the Sainte-Anne community. Participating in activities together, feeling that you could rely on colleagues and friends for question and help was a real support for me. Furthermore, being an international student, it also helped me feel less alone. Volunteering with some colleagues helped me forge links with them but also with the Canadian community that would me my home for two years.
Furthermore, the opportunity to be part of the Honors program pushed me in my studies to give it my all. Working hard, helping each other out, and taking things step by step were all qualities developed because of the Honors program. Moreover, being able to take part in extracurricular activities: attending conferences and workshops was a real asset to push my curiosity and my love for learning forward. It also provided a unique opportunity to delve deeper into subjects that I was passionate about.
Overall, being part of the Honors program was an enriching experience both academically and personally.
